The St. Sava Ball is a traditional gathering across the entire Serbian diaspora, in honour of the most celebrated of all the Serbian Orthodox saints – St. Sava. The regal ball echoes the noble heritage of Rastko Nemanjic, but the charitable purpose of the evening reminds of us his dedication to God and the Church, and thus of our calling to be good Christians – promoting the Gospel, especially to the ones who are becoming acquainted with their Serbian Orthodox identity.

Our Mission

Keeping with the spirit of St. Sava, the Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Canada is keen on bettering our youth education endeavours. To facilitate this, the St. Sava Youth Committee has been fundraising toward the purchase of a dedicated Educational centre facility on the grounds of our Holy Monastery in Milton, Ontario. Our goal is to, in the southeast corner of the scenic monastery property, erect a functional, and convenient, multi-purpose building which will house future youth camps, seminars, and gatherings.
